THE PLASTICS ENTERPRISE

FMJ Plastics (Private) Limited is a fully-owned subsidiary of the FMJ Holdings and is the prime business of the Group. It was established in 1974 and manufactures injected and blow molded plastic components for use in the industrial, commercial and household sectors. A family owned enterprise with over 500 employees working today, FMJ Plastics undertakes the customer requirements of injection molding, blow molding, PET blowing, thermo-forming, blister forming, shrink wrapping, plastic decorating and mold-making in addition to high quality packaging solutions.

FMJ Plastics operate four factories utilizing state-of-the-art machinery from Japan, Taiwan, Honk Kong, Malaysia, Europe and India. Quality Assurance in all four factories is independently undertaken by a well experienced qualified team throughout the manufacturing process to ensure that all customer requirements are met and that a quality product leaves the factory. Overall we cater to the packaging of pharmaceuticals, dairy, food & beverage, detergents, chemical & lubricants, fertilizer, local cosmetics & confectionaries, stationery, caps & closures and engineering items as well as industrial and household requirements.

OUR TECHNOLOGY

The manufacturing process takes place under the direct supervision of qualified personnel and caters totally to industrial and household products for the mass market. FMJ Plastics is also geared to undertake the manufacture of promotional items for major corporates. As with the other three factories Quality Assurance is a key element in the production process and is overseen by a professional team to ensure that a worthy product is delivered to the end user.

Our exclusive PET molding plant utilizes the most modern machinery and equipment from Japan comprised with the latest Single Stage PET manufacturing technology to increase turnaround efficiency. It also houses contemporary 2-Stage PET manufacturing machinery to cope with orders of any capacity.

Our Blow molding machines range from 50 ml to 12 liters with a wide range of Injection molding machines with the capacity to handle up to 400 Tons. The factory is operational 24-hours-a-day in order to meet heavy customer requirements especially with regards to timely deliveries. The manufacturing process takes place under the supervision of technically qualified personnel along with a professional team of well-trained staff, all of whom are directly responsible for maintaining a high quality output.

HYGIENIC PLANT

Our factories and their respective production outfits have been upgraded time and again to meet with increasing customer demands and evolving standards keeping future turnaround efficiency primarily in mind. Hence, the latest expansion of the Group saw the establishment of an all new Hygienic Plant with state of the art technology catering to large scale orders from our corporate clientele.

With evolving trends and the expansion of business, FMJ Plastics was compelled to consider a hi-tech plant with the latest technological advancement in the industry. With long-term customized orders on the increase a new production plant was set up on a five acre property to cater to specialized projects. Now fully operational with modern automated machinery, this all new factory services our top dairy clients such as Milco and Fonterra and is geared to undertake complex orders of any size and scale.

We are equipped with our own state-of-the-art Tool Room facility in collaboration with our overseas partner. For over 25 years we have been working concurrently with reputed Mold Makers in Taiwan, China and India who specialize in mold-making technology in various, uniquely diverse fields. In addition, we are fully equipped with an in-house facility to undertake orders for 3D Design and 3D Printing, a complex technical process which takes place under the stringent supervision of a team of professionals.
